What is Marcite?
Marcite is a mixture composed primarily of white Portland cement, marble dust, and fortifying additives to boost strength and water resistance. Mixed with water, it forms a smooth material that specialty crews use to coat the inside of a pool.
Is Marcite the same as gunite?

How do you mix Marcite?
Marbelite (marcite) Standard white marbelite is a simple mixture of two-part white marble dust aggregate, one-part white cement, and water mixed together in a mortar or drill mixer for a minimum of six minutes to a consistency of a thick milkshake.
How often should pool be replastered?
When it comes to your pool, you should set aside a budget to replaster your pool. Ideally, you should white coat your pool once every ten years. In this time, you should have more than enough money to make fixes and give your pool some welcome updates.
Why is PebbleTec so expensive?
Pebble Tec pool surfaces are more expensive. Compared to plaster, Pebble Tec is more expensive due to the high quality pool resurfacing material it uses. Pebble Tec is a little rougher. Pebble Tec pools are a little rougher on your feet than plaster.
