Are zoom bike forks any good?
Registered. To be honest, Zoom forks are never really supple, not even when new. Buying a second hand decent fork will make the bike perform far better than whatever service you give the Zoom fork.

What size suspension fork do I need?
If you have 27.5/650B or 29in wheels then you need the corresponding size fork. Tip: if you have 26in wheels you can use 26in size forks (obviously) but you can also get away with running a 27.5/650B fork without messing up your bike’s handling significantly.
What makes a good suspension fork?
Air springs have become the staple choice on modern suspension forks as they are tuneable and have a progressive compression rate — the feel is softer in the first part of the travel and then gets stiffer as more compression is applied. Coil springs on the other hand are found predominantly on downhill bikes.
Are zoom brakes any good?
They are super responsive, they really “bite” you can feel them engage as soon as you touch the lever. This brake set really seems to be a great budget quality part.
How do I know if my fork will fit my bike?
A thru axle will slide through one fork leg, through the hub and then through the other fork leg, and is secured in place by a quick-release clamp. Take your existing front wheel out and measure the current axle diameter to work out further narrow down what fork your bike can accommodate.
What oil does zoom brakes use?

at 130mm you’ll probably be fine, I wouldn’t put anything bigger on there. The kona frames are pretty strong, I used to run a 130mm fork on my 100mm jump bike for AM and a lottle more FR riding, I was fine.
