How long does it take to put together a metal shed?
Assembly varies depending on the size of the shed, whether you have a foundation and number of extensions. Here are some estimates for some of our basic sheds: The 10×8 takes two people 4-5 hours, the 5×3 takes 1 hour, the 4×8 takes 3-4 hours; and the 8×6 takes 2 people 3-4 hours.
How do you anchor a metal shed to the ground?
Dig holes, form and pour concrete piles at each corner and the middle if a long shed. Use anchor bolts with a loop or ring top and inserted into the concrete before it hardens. Connect a cable or strap to the ring or loop to anchor the shed. This is a permanent anchor.

Does a metal shed need to be anchored?
Sheds should be anchored to the earth or the proper base, such as cement slabs. One of the main reasons for this is that a strong gust of wind could knock your shed off its foundation. This will result in substantial damage that is expensive to restore.
Do I need a foundation for a metal shed?
Most metal sheds, or storage buildings, are made of galvanized steel due to that material’s resistance to rust. Essentially four walls and a roof, such a shed needs a solid, level base to sit on in order to be as sturdy as possible, but that doesn’t mean you have to pour a concrete slab or footings.
Can you build Arrow shed on grass?

Unlike the Base Kit, the Arrow floor frame kit is installed after your shed is completely assembled. To protect your stored items, you should consider having a floor above the base in your shed. If you are creating your own base, we recommend that you install a floor using an Arrow floor frame kit.
