How long do Little League games last?
1-1/2 hours
Games consist of four innings or 1-1/2 hours. Teams are formed by random draft each season. 6 yr olds are encouraged to play Coach Pitch (see below) but inexperienced 6 yr olds can play T-Ball.
Why is it called T Ball?
T-Ball – Baseball for Kids The difference between T-Ball and Baseball/Softball is the child usually hits the ball off a stationary tee (a stand used to support a stationary ball). Also, the ball is usually not pitched. It may be called teeball, tee ball, or t-ball.
What bats do Little League players use?
The bat must be a baseball bat which meets the USA Baseball Bat standard (USABat) as adopted by Little League. It shall be a smooth, rounded stick, and made of wood or of material and color tested and proved acceptable to the USA Baseball Bat standard (USABat).
Can you intentionally walk a batter in Little League?
Intentional Walk [Baseball Only] For Minor and Major Divisions of Baseball, defensive teams will now be able to elect to intentionally walk a batter by announcing the decision to the plate umpire.
