It is a one of a kind experience and definitely worth while! This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. The best thing about Bearizona is the way it’s set up so that the animals are in wooded areas on soil, not on concrete. It’s far better than the best zoo.

We live in Arizona, so I know the weather quite well and I’d say that spring and fall is the perfect time to visit. Also, we got there around 10:30am (the zoo opens at 10am) and I think the animals were more active in the morning when we drove though.

The only way I can explain Bearizona is; its an amusement / wildlife park you drive trough, at your own pace and inside the comfort of your own vehicle. When you arrive, you drive up to a toll booth where someone from the park will explain the rules and except your money for entrance.

Start your review of Bearizona. If you’re nearby for the Grand Canyon, Polar Express Train ride, Sedona, etc., I recommend checking this place out! I LOVED being in my car and seeing the animals so close in nature. After paying the per person entrance fee, we drove slowly through the park.
