about 460lbs. 289’s, 302’s, and 5.0’s (302) are pretty much the same engine besides the stroke, roller cam, water pump, rear main, ect…. Not to be technical but I think most SBF’s weigh in the neighborhood of 400-ish lbs, give or take about 25 or so. Thanks for the infor, guys.

You could buy a Mustang with a 4 or 6 cylinder engine and the fuel economy wouldn’t be so bad but the fun factor is less. Some drawbacks to the car is the limited visibility ( blind spots ), useless back seat, poor winter performance with rear wheel drive.
