Always roll the drop on the tube when not in use, never fold the drop. Never try to iron the drop, especially the painted surface. If wrinkles need to be removed, use a steam iron on the back of the drop (raw canvas side) while it’s hanging, then make sure it’s rolled snug. Never wash or get the drop wet.

Use a clean clothes iron on the cotton setting, with steam if possible. My personal preference is an iron.
