What do you think about the Blackstar Mini Amp?
Also, the headphone jack doesn’t seem particularly sturdy. Blackstar should realize that many players use headphones at home and provide a sturdy headphone jack and a much stronger signal. This little amp could have easily gotten 5 stars, but “WOW” doesn’t seem appropriate.
What do you think about the Blackstar TVP?
Blackstar TVP technology has outdone the competition. They were only a tube amp company up th the ID series release and it’s obvious they wanted to outdo what was currently on the market. I’m not a metal player but love the bottom end sound of this small amp that others lack. Great for chugging through rock power chords.
Is the id15 a good AMP?
First off don’t be fooled by the name ID15 or the fact it’s advertised as a 15 watt amp. It can get as loud as others that are rated higher and unlike some that turn to mush at high volume this amp still sounds good doing it.
Which tube amp to pair with backstar?
In the same room with the Backstar is a AC15 and PRRI. Those two haven’t been powered up in two weeks as I enjoy solid state heresy. To be sure, on my best days with my best set of ears, the tube amps perform better, but not by much.
