6.1. 3 If the Renting Company wishes to use the Supplying Location’s insurance, a full valid driving licence will be required to be shown by the driver to the Thrifty representative at the point of delivery of the vehicle.

Are thrifty cars tracked?
Thrifty will reset the infotainment system back to its original factory settings at the end of the hire before the vehicle’s next rental. Certain vehicles may be equipped with a vehicle tracking system. Please note the devices may routinely be used for a point in time mileage readings only.
Are Sixt and Thrifty the same company?
Update 7th December 2021: Much of the original Thrifty Australia operational structure has been rebranded as SIXT Australia. NRMA’s master license for Thrifty expired earlier this year and they have now changed over to be SIXT Australia.
