Hi-Tek Super Coat molecularly bonds to the bullet during the curing process, totally encapsulating the bullet. The coating prevents lead to bore contact and virtually eliminates lead fouling and the smoke normally associated with traditional wax type lubricants.
How much does it cost to powder coat bullets?
Add 1 teaspoon of powder for the first load if you have new BB’s and container. Remember that less powder is better as you can always add more. 1/2 teaspoon is more than enough for next batches. Close the lid and swirl like crazy for 30 seconds, then shake fairly hard up and down for another 30 seconds.

Are moly coated bullets better?

However, by working up a load that can be reproduced consistently, moly or no moly, performance is the same over and over.

Is Tek bullet coatin G A two part epoxy?
Hi Tek Bullet Coatin g is either a two part epoxy if you purchase the powder, or a three part system if you purchase the liquid (Acetone or MEK is required for thinning). I purchased both with the intent to see which one I liked more. For this application we stuck with the liquid product.

What is the best way to seat Hi-Tek coated bullets?
1. Flare case mouths enough so the lubricant is not scraped off during the seating station. I have found that when seating the hi-tek coated bullets it is very easy to scrap some of the coating off, and it is extremely difficult to clean-up after doing so.
